Self-reliant India - How good is it?

“The way ahead lies in local. Local manufacturing, local markets, local supply chain. Local is not merely a need but a responsibility.” – Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi.

The US has become a powerful and rich nation because of having a lot of Entrepreneurial activities. India should adopt the same and the Governments should support this, especially the MSME sector. And guess what? This is exactly happening!

A company engaged in local manufacturing not just improves its revenue but also provides local job opportunities, improves local supply chain and in-turn boosts the nation’s economy. We, at Asal, has always believed that Indian manufacturers are no less in standard than other foreign players. We have always felt proud about procuring the raw materials in India from Indian companies and manufacturing in India with Indian labours and delivering it with a “MADE IN INDIA” tag.

But this does not stop here! “Local Vendors”, “Local Manufacturing”, “MADE IN INDIA” – All the checkboxes are checked. Here comes the last one. “BUYERS”. This the most crucial part of the entire process. As our Prime Minister as rightly said, it is the responsibility of every citizen to trust the local brands and their products. On this regard, we are feeling thankful to our clients from small builders to top class companies for supporting and trusting us. If just one industry (construction industry) could pull off everything with Indian vendors, imagine if the entire nation does this!

This is the right time for the Indian businesses to show their unity and the youths stepping out and creating their own business. This vision of India - turning crisis into opportunity- is going to prove equally effective for our resolve of self-reliant India.
